How billing works
A balance, not a subscription
Three rules. No surprises at the end of the month.
1 · Top up

Pay by card through Stripe. VAT is added at checkout unless you enter an EU VAT number. Credits are valid for 12 months.
2 · Run
Every started hour is charged
The box rate is taken from your balance hour by hour while the box exists. Push bundles, run tests, let your agent work — the price does not depend on how many tests you run.
3 · Stop
Delete the box, charges stop
From the dashboard or from your agent over the API. The remaining balance waits for the next box. Runs out of balance? We email you first, then the box is removed.
Frequently asked questions
- How is an hour counted?
- Every started hour is charged at the box rate, from the moment the box is ready until you delete it. The first hour is charged when the box is created. There is no per-minute billing yet.
- What happens when my balance runs out?
- You get an email when the balance covers less than two hours of your running boxes. If the next hour cannot be paid, the box is deleted. Nothing is charged beyond your balance and you never go into debt.
- Is there a subscription or a monthly minimum?
- No. You top up a balance and pay only for the hours a box exists. No box, no charges. Credits stay valid for 12 months.
- What is in a box?
- A dedicated VM with the unotest runtime: the viewer, the run queue, environments, CI hooks and bundle push. Your suite runs there against your staging or production URL, and your agent drives it over MCP.
- What happens to my data when I delete a box?
- The VM and everything on it — runs, bundles, history — are deleted with it. Keep your scenarios in your own repository; they are pushed to the box, never stored only there.
- Can I use my own domain?
- Not yet. Every box gets a name under box.unotest.com with a certificate issued automatically.
- Who can sign up?
- unotest cloud is sold to businesses. By topping up you confirm that you are buying for a business purpose and agree that the service starts immediately. VAT is calculated at checkout; add your VAT number for reverse charge inside the EU.
